Git on Da Bus Storytelling Crawl / Tradition Keepers: Black Storytellers of Western New York

Patterned after the "Kansas City Jazz Crawls," ticket-holding bus riders will travel to four "mystery" sites in the city where they will hear wonderful stories presented by several of the "Tradition Keepers." Storylisteners, adults and children, will board a school bus at Juneteenth Headquarters, 1517 Genesee St. at 3:30 pm. The bus will depart at 4 pm sharp and will travel to four sites where storytellers will be waiting to share stories in themed programs: "We've Come This Far by Faith," "They Built the Bridges," "Back in the Day," and "Nothing But the Fun Stuff." The bus will return to Juneteenth Headquarters around 6:30, where light refreshments will be available. Tickets are being sold for $10. Seating is limited.
